Tinubu Embarks On One-day Visit To Kebbi
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a one-day official visit to Kebbi State to inaugurate projects and attend a major cultural event.
Top Naija reports that the development was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, Tinubu will depart for Kebbi on Saturday to commission projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris as part of efforts to showcase ongoing development in the state.
While in Kebbi, the President is also expected to headline the 61st edition of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as the special guest of honour. The festival, described as one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural events, is staged along the riverside of Matan Fada.
The event has received global recognition from UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
